After the crazy first few weeks of December, things started looking up. This Christmas season was so special. We got to do so many fun things! Here are some pictures to re-cap my families Christmas. Sorry There are a lot of pictures!
JT & I went on the "Polar Express" with my sisters family. We even got to meet Santa! ;)
You can't see us very good, but this house was so cool! Phineas and Ferb themed!
Mom took Ky and I to Vegas for some last minute shopping, and we ended the night at Cheesecake Factory! Yum!!

Went to Sakura for our traditional Christmas Eve dinner where the annoying Asian chef picked on me. He seriously thought I was the youngest. uh....crazy right??
I was the winner of the shrimp toss. You can't tell, but I was in the back corner when the crazy Asian tossed it to me! Sorry the Video isn't very great! (that's on you mom ;) lol jk )
Mark gave us our PJ's from his trip to Montana a few weeks ago. They were so cute! "Bear bottoms" and they really open up on the bum! haha!!
I can't even tell you how much I love Christmas tree's.
I had to work christmas morning, but on my way I passed this house and HAD to stop and take a pic. It defenitely made my morning! So pretty!! I love the all white lights!! so classy!
My "twin" brother facetimed me Christmas morning! He is in London right now, and it's always so fun to get to talk to him!! Miss his face!! Love you D!!
Mom and Mark loved their present I got them. Mom even cried! haha! That made me feel good!
I found this poem and gave it to them with the painting. It's kinda blurry but It was perfect to go along with the painting. (don't make fun of my lame attempt at being crafty)
Later that day, all of the sisters met at the hospital to be with dad! We are only missing three other siblings!! CRAZY! I think this is the most kids my dad has in a picture! Too bad I'm checking out the male nurse and marki's eyes are closed and dad looks like he is about to go into acoma! ;) lol jk. kinda.
Later Christmas Day I went to JT's for dinner and we exchanged gifts and my freaking awesome boyfriend gave me HUNTER RAINBOOTS. If you haven't heard of them, go to pinterest. I'm in love with them and I have hardly taken them off yet. They were the most perfect gift and it made my whole December turn around! haha! I was so excited!! I really am so blessed to have JT in my life! He has been there for me through all of my dads stuff and is always offering to do stuff! I Love him to pieces!!
To wrap up my holiday season, I had to do one thing I've never done before.
SLEDDING. yep, i've never done it! Crazy right?? JT took me to Pine Valley and we spent the afternoon sledding! It was so fun, even though it was dang cold!
Lover boy slipped. It was kinda sad, but so dang funny at the same time and I had to take a pic! Sorry Love!
He didn't get up for awhile, so I snapped this real quick lol
Here is an update on everyone. Be careful, it's kinda long!
The last two weeks have been crazy. JT had strep throat, and currently has Hives the poor kid!! But on a good note he started his mission papers last week and is almost done! Skylei got accepted to USU tonight, Mark and my mom both have pneumonia and Marki purchased a new Ukelele....(I'm going to burn it one of these days) If you know Marquelle, then you already know that she is a child prodigy at the piano, and basically anything to do with instruments. Well she had the grand idea to buy the worlds most annoying instrument and play it night and day until she masters it. It's so awesome how talented she is, but that dang guitar is going to go missing for a couple weeks. Dad had a quarter of his heel bone taken out last week, and is now residing at Kolob, a rehab facility and is hating it. He hasn't been his usual chipper self, But tonight, Ky and I went over and had a pizza party and talked about world history. In school, the lessons weren't nearly as fascinating and intising as dad makes it. He makes you want to actually remember dates, people, and places. It was fun and all of my older sisters are with him every day (especially Tiff) and I think he is enjoying that part the most. Emily moved to AZ and started school on Monday and that is so exciting! As for myself, I have quite the announcement. I've only told a few family members, and JT's family so far. My mom spilled my beans to the family and on FB but I thought I would officially tell my friends and Family. I have decided to go on a mission!! SURPRISE! I wasn't going to say anything until I turned in my papers, but my mom said I should come out. I know what some people will think, that I am only doing it so time will fly by while JT is gone. that is true and I would be lying if I said that wasn't a perk of serving..but I know it's what I am supposed to do with the next 18 months of my life. My family isn't active, and I haven't been the most faithful member the last couple of years, but being with JT and around his family, I've learned so much about the gospel and I see the love they have in their home and for one another and I can't help but want that for myself, and my future family, and to help teach other families about those same teachings and blessings. I have a lot of work and studying to do, but it's what I am supposed to do and what I want to do and I couldn't be more excited! Plus seeing all of my friends prepare for their missions, is so fun and seeing their lives be so blessed and seeing their happiness, I can't help but want that too. I love my family and the church and I am so happy.
2012 has been the fastest, craziest, best year of my life. My family is everything to me and I am so grateful for all of the trials I have gone through this year. I hope everyone has the best year possible and it's filled with love and safety.
