* Jubilee of Tree's (LOVED it!)
*The Dicken's Festival-
It was so cute in there, we went with my sister and her family and although it was freaking HOT, it was fun! It smelled like funnel cakes the whole time and we laughed our heads off the entire time because while we were shopping, there were boys and girls our age walking around dressed like pioneers, talking with english accents and kept telling us to "Vote For Women."
I'm not sure why we thought it was so funny, but it was!
ANYWHO...
Last night we made ginger bread houses with my family! We went to the store to get the usual ginger bread house kit, and once we got to my moms, we opened the box and looked everywhere in the box and there was no ginger bread to build the house. We were so confused! The whole box had candy in it! Then like the genius my mom is, she started laughing and told us we had bought the make your own chocolate ginger bread house kit...like by melting the chocolate into the plastic things and freezing them, you build your house. so the entire thing was made of chocolate. By the time we were done we were up to our elbows in chocolate! It was a complicated mess to say the least!
JT has been a good sport throughout all of this. He doesn't just LOVE christmas music like I do, but he knows if we go in my car, then he is most likely going to end up listening to me belt my fave Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton Christmas Album. (We've gone in his car a lot lately, I'm just realizing haha) but it's been so fun, and we are just trying to make the most out of this last holiday season we have together before he leaves me for two whole years!
